From The Silk Ranch, this Glacier Isopod art print features Cubaris sp. Glacier, an eye-catching designer isopod associated with a cool, glacier-inspired aesthetic. Its distinctive appearance and detailed body structure make it a fascinating example of the visual variety found among terrestrial crustaceans.
Illustrated by Mingo X, this biological illustration highlights the segmented exoskeleton, rounded body plates, and fine anatomical features that give the Glacier Isopod its distinctive character. The artwork draws attention to the remarkable structures of small invertebrates through detailed scientific-inspired illustration.
A great addition for isopod enthusiasts, exotic invertebrate collectors, and biological art collections.
The original style offers a theme of classic technical illustrations often seen in biological fields via textbooks and other similar scientific media. It includes the common name for the species as well as the most up to date Latin name for the species.
The textless style offers a minimalist artistic style that transforms the natural existence of these wonderful species into decorative art. This style highlights the beauty of the Theraphosidae family without the technical side associated with the classifications.
